Cooking, gardening, and waste recycling programs offer valuable opportunities for special needs students to learn practical life skills while engaging with their peers. During these activities, students work together, share responsibilities, and support one another, creating a natural environment for peer learning and cooperation. Whether preparing simple meals, nurturing plants, or sorting recyclable materials, each task encourages communication, teamwork, and confidence-building. This integration not only helps students develop independence but also fosters meaningful friendships and a sense of belonging within the school community.

VOCATIONAL TRAINING PROGRAMS

Students are equipped with practical skills, often showcasing their work during school fairs and exhibitions:

Carpentry, screen printing, tailoring, noodle making, hair dressing, and sublimation printing provide hands-on vocational experiences that help special needs students build confidence and practical skills. Through these engaging activities, students learn to work with tools, follow steps, and create meaningful products, all while collaborating with their peers. These programs promote independence, creativity, and problem-solving in a supportive environment. By participating alongside other students, they develop teamwork, communication, and a sense of accomplishment, making each skill not only a learning opportunity but also a pathway to inclusion and future self-reliance.

VALUE EDUCATION

Moral and character development is emphasized through:

1.1

Secular ethics, moral values, and integrity with courtesy are shared principles nurtured in both special and mainstream classrooms, creating a harmonious and respectful school environment. For special needs students, these values are taught through everyday interactions, guided discussions, and positive role-modelling. By learning alongside their peers, students develop empathy, kindness, and respect for differences, helping them build stronger social skills and meaningful relationships. This shared value system ensures that every child feels safe, included, and supported, fostering a school culture where everyone learns to contribute positively and treat one another with dignity.
